A Feb. 16 and 23 contributor to the letters section of The Maui News has been asking for public support of a law to ban the human consumption of pets.
I am not sure this is necessary.
Frankly, a poodle properly aged and braised can be a very tasty main entree, and Yorkies are excellent for beach fare when cooked imu style. Feral dogs, on the other hand, need to be marinated and baked at 375 degrees for at least three hours to mitigate that gamey favor. Personally, I don't like cats - alive or cooked.
