June Shizue Inouye, 87, of Wailuku, passed away on February 25, 2013 at Hale Makua Wailuku.
Visitation will be, Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Kahului Union Church; with services at 11:00 a.m.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Mrs. Inouye was born in Tokyo, Japan on March 31, 1925. She was a retired potato chip packer for MAUI KITCH'N COOK'D. After retirement, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening. In her recent years, she enjoyed playing BINGO and eating out with her friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Masaru Inouye; daughter, Julie (Larry) Sugahara; son, Kenneth Inouye; granddaughter, Lori Oura. She is survived by daughters, Joan (Alan) Oura, Susan (Paul) Horikawa, and Paula Inouye; grandchildren, Doris (Jonathan) Forte, Jason Sugahara, Sheri (Garett) Lew, Jon Oura, Michelle Horikawa, Jennifer Horikawa, Giovanni Inouye; and great granddaughter, Emi Lew.
