Kamilah Martin had 18 points and 12 rebounds as the University of Hawaii women's basketball team finished its regular season by beating Cal State Fullerton 53-43 on Saturday at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.
Vicky Tagalicod added 11 points and Shawna-Lei Kuehu had 10 for the Rainbow Wahine (17-12, 13-5 Big West).
Hawaii, which has won six of its last seven games, finishes in a tie for second in the conference with Cal Poly, which lost to Long Beach State on Saturday. Pacific won the conference regular-season title with a 14-4 mark.
The Rainbow Wahine, who lost a tiebreaker to the Mustangs, will be seeded third for the conference tournament, to be held March 12-16 in Anaheim, Calif. Hawaii, in its first season under coach Laura Beeman, will have an opening-round bye and play a quarterfinal game March 13.
Molokai High alumnus Kalei Adolpho had two points, three rebounds and one block in seven minutes for the Rainbow Wahine, who outscored the Titans (9-21, 5-13) 35-21 in the second half.
The Rainbow Wahine held a 45-36 rebounding advantage.
Chante Miles scored 12 points for Cal State Fullerton.
The game was the last at home for a quartet of UH seniors - Kanisha Bello, Monica DeAngelis, Stephanie Ricketts and Tagalicod. DeAngelis and Ricketts were with the program for just one season.
