Your tax dollars at work: Not to be outdone by Washington in the attempt to fritter away time and money, Hawaii's duly elected statesmen are now locked in a fierce debate to define dancing (The Maui News, March 7).
Flushed with victory after decisively making sure that our precious celebrities are never disturbed by us common folk glancing at them or disturbing them in their natural habitat, they have bravely pressed on to this burning issue.
Damn the infrastructure and Third World roads. Our legislators are getting to the bottom of this dancing issue. No doubt to be followed by a unanimous vote for a pay raise.
It makes me proud to be an American.
