Conner George had a career-high three hits and three RBIs to lead the University of Hawaii baseball team to its third straight win, 7-3 over Wichita State on Thursday at Les Murakami Stadium.
The Rainbows (4-15) had a season-high 14 hits. Kaeo Aliviado was 3-for-3 with two runs, and Marc Flores had three hits, scored once, and had two RBIs.
Corey MacDonald (2-2) worked 6 2/3 innings for the win. He allowed three runs on 11 hits and struck out a career-high seven hitters.
Zach Beringer (1-1) allowed six runs on eight hits in four-plus innings for the Shockers (11-10).
The teams will continue their five-game series today at 6:35 p.m.
