Volunteers help keep Maui clean

April 17, 2013
The Maui News
Hale Makua Health Services staff and volunteers hit the pavement on April 6 to pick up trash as part of Matson Navigation’s Ka Ipu Aina program. They cleaned the area between the Maalaea Park and Ride and Kealia Pond. In the photo (from left) volunteer John Dugan and Hale Makua staff members Teresa Lopes, Rosie Kahiamoe, and Rhonda Reny are hard at work. Matson Navigation supplied a shipping container for the trash and donated $1,000 to Hale Makua Health Services. Community Work Day provided clean up supplies.
