UH completes first sweep of season

The University of Hawaii baseball completed its first series sweep of the season on Sunday, beating UC?Davis 6-0 on Senior Day at Murakami Stadium.

Austin Wobrock and Stephen Ventimilia each drove in two runs for the Rainbows (15-33, 10-14 Big West), while Kalei Hanawahine scored twice. Piikea Kitamura singled in the first inning for his 200th career hit.

Matt Cooper?(3-7) allowed five hits over eight innings and Jon Flinn pitched a perfect ninth.

The Aggies (19-34, 5-19) lost for the 18th time in their last 23 road games. Evan Wolf (3-4) allowed two runs - one earned - over six innings.

Hawaii will conclude its season with a three-game series at UC Riverside, starting Friday.
