The University of Hawaii baseball team won its season-best fourth straight game on Thursday, building a five-run lead and then holding on for a 5-4 victory over UC Riverside in Riverside, Calif.

Marc Flores went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs for the Rainbows (16-33, 11-14 Big West), who led 5-0 after five innings. Piikea Kitamura and Kaeo Aliviado each had two hits as well, and Aliviado scored twice.

Francisco Tellez hit a solo home run for the Highlanders (12-32, 8-17).

Connor Little (3-6) allowed three runs in six innings for the win, and Lawrence Chew went the rest of the way to earn his fourth save.

Dylan Stuart (3-9) pitched a complete game for Riverside. Only two of the runs he allowed were earned.

The teams will conclude their seasons by meeting again today and Saturday.
