I read the article on the Hale Mahaolu probe (The Maui News, June 14) with mixed feelings.
First, a sense of relief for all of the former employees of Hale Mahaolu over the past 25 years who had experienced the same abuse and retaliation. Maybe our time of vindication has finally arrived.
Second, a sense of sadness for all the families and employees at Lahaina Surf who may have been or who will be affected by the asbestos.
Robyne Nishida Nakoa is a brave young woman. Kudos for standing up.
