With yodeling, alpine music and authentic foods of Switzerland as part of the mix, Swiss Days at Brigit & Bernard's Garden Cafe in Kahului Industrial will be fun as usual.
"We celebrate Switzerland's 722nd Independence Day from 6 p.m. to closing today and Friday with an all-you-can-eat Swiss buffet, Swiss trivia, a yodeling contest, and live music by Dorfmusikanten, aka the 'village musicians,' " says chef-owner Bernard Weber, a native of Davos.
"This year's Swiss trivia has all new questions and the all-you-can-eat buffet is purely Swiss, from the salad bar to the buendner teller (air-cured beef) to the Swiss bread and potatoes with the traditional melted raclette cheese."
