Margaret A. Leach, 89, of Kula, died peacefully in her sleep with her husband and sons by her side on Sept. 11, 2013, at home. She was lovingly tended by care giver Tenzin Kartso, her family and recently under Hospice care.
Margaret was born Sept. 15, 1923, in Pasadena, CA. She was a school teacher and an accomplished Artist who lived and worked throughout the Pacific. Margeret was very active in our Maui community being one of the founders of the Viewpoints Gallery in Makawao. Her artwork continues to be sold all over the islands.
A scattering of her ashes will be held at Kanaha Beach Park at 9:30 AM on Sunday, Oct.6, at the upper parking lot.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Willis E. Leach; her 4 sons, Brian Daniells (Eva Daniells, Raji Ananda, Maria Kolar), Mark Daniells (Diane, and Evan Daniells), Steve Daniells (Deborah, Justin, Preston, and Andrea Daniells), Matthew Daniells (Sandy, and Acacia Daniells).
