ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW AT FIRST FRIDAY
Halloween fun continues at First Friday in Wailuku from 6 to 9 p.m. Catch Eric Gilliom and his band at 7:30 p.m. on the Maui Thing stage, and get ready for the Iao Theater's annual "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" at 8 p.m. Wailuku Town Party will have lots of activities, artisans and good eats. ARBOR DAY AT MAUI NUI BOTANICAL GARDENS
Celebrate Arbor Day at Maui Nui Botanical Gardens and recieve one of 1,000 native trees from 9 a.m. to noon. 2-DAY OPEN HOUSE AT BIRD CONSERVATION
The Maui Bird Conservation Center will hold its annual open house on Saturday and Sunday. MBCC focuses on captive breeding and reintroduction of endangered Hawaiian birds. Open house events include presentations, silent auction, keiki activities, a guided tour of the birds, aviaries and grounds. Tour times are 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. on both days. Support Maui AIDS Foundation by attending Dining for Life at Flatbread in Paia from 5 to 10 p.m. Proceeds from the event will support MAF and its programs, which include client care, housing, and food for those living with HIV/AIDS and prevention and education.
