Hal T. Silva, 52 of Wailuku, passed away on October 9, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 31, 1961 in Honolulu.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Ballard Family Mortuary, memorial services will begin at 3 p.m.
Hal was the Harbor Master IV for Lahaina Small Boat Harbor for 15 years.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Lolita "Lolly" Castillon-Silva; and children, Bud, Light, and Missy. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Betty Silva; and his children, Frankie, Vesperlin, and Camo. He is also survived by his hanai-sister, Lori (Aaron) Nogami-Young of Honolulu; mother-in-law, Lollie Loucks of Maui; sisters-in-law, Marie (Robert Evans) Nahalea, Donna (Michael) Domingo, Esther (Wayne) Yap, Valerie (Chris Medwed) Heckman all of Maui, Roberta (Dave) Jenkins of Iowa; Marissa and Lilia Castillon of Kona; brothers-in-law, Benjamin (Kimberly) Castillon Jr. of Maui, Joey (Aulia) Ventura of Kauai, Marcus, Marshall, and Ben Castillon of Kona; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family request no flowers. Ashes will be spread at a later date.
