A "Worthshop" event, designed mainly for real estate brokers and agents working the affluent market segment, will be held Dec. 12 and 13 at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.
Worthshop No. 3 is being hosted by Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers, which created the Worthshop Series. The theme of the event is "Simplicity."
The keynote speakers include Michela O'Connor Abrams, president and chief executive officer of Dwell Media, a design and lifestyle media company based in San Francisco. Her talk titled "The New Face Of Affluence" will provide an in-depth look at affluent clientele, a news release about the event said.
Other speakers include Kurt Yazici, broker relations manager for real estate website Zillow; Edward "Ted" Clement Jr. of Hawaiian Island Land Trust; and Marc Davison of 1000watt, a real estate marketing and strategy firm.
While the event is designed for real estate brokers and agents, the public is welcome with organizers expecting attendees from related industries such as finance, design and architecture, the news release said.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. the first day with a cocktail and VIP event featuring Makana in the evening and from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. the second day with a "Wrap Party."
The cost of the event ranges from $150/$130 for individual days to $2,500, which includes two night's accommodations.
