Airbus A330 makes first regular visit

December 4, 2013
The Maui News
Hawaiian Airlines’ new Airbus A330 dwarfs the other passenger jets parked around it at Kahului Airport on Tuesday afternoon. Hawaiian began flying the Airbus on its Seattle-to-Kahului run Monday. Airbus aircraft have flown in and out of Kahului Airport before, but the Seattle-Kahului run is the first regularly scheduled flight into the airport. The jetliner made by Airbus, which is headquartered in France, can carry 294 passengers and has a range of nearly 7,000 miles.
