Kenneth Nohealani Sharpe, 79, of Lahaina, Maui died unexpectedly on Nov. 16, 2013 at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church on Sat., Dec. 28 at 10:00am.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.
Parents were David Taylor Sharpe, law enforcement and Emma Farden Sharpe, noted kumu hula and song writer.
Kenneth was retired; his last occupation was a docent at Lahaina Restoration Foundation.
He is survived by many descendants of the Farden/ Sharpe family both here and on the mainland and many friends.
Kenneth Nohealani Sharpe, a "living treasure of Hawaii", hula aficionado, expert Lahaina historian, retired Air Force, was a strong supporter of Lahaina Luna Foundation. His special interests also included local politics, the Smithsonian, and numerous veterans' organizations.
He will be missed by many.
