Christmas dinners for responders

January 1, 2014
The Maui News

Grand Wailea Director of Security Michael Palazzotto delivered Christmas dinners to officers and staff working at the new Kihei Police Station, at 2201 Piilani Highway. He met those on duty Christmas Day: Kristine Armstrong, Steve Kelly and Brandon Asuega-Stark, and David Doherty. Palazzotto has made a visit to South Maui responders for Christmas and Thanksgiving each of the eight years he has been at the resort. He says it builds relationships with the responders and is a way to thank them for all their support throughout the year. The resort's Executive Chef Eric Faivre prepared the meals, including prime rib, char siu pork, mahimahi, turkey, green salad, macaroni salad, tako poke and hamachi. Palazzotto also delivered meals to the Wailea Fire Station, the ambulance services in Wailea/Kihei, and the sheriff's department in Wailuku.
