Maui United Way held its annual Holiday Toy Drive and would like to thank the supporters and sponsors who helped make this year's toy drive a huge success.
Through this toy drive, Maui United Way was able to give toys to hundreds of children this Christmas. The toys were distributed to children on Maui through some of Maui United Way's 40 nonprofit partner agencies.
With a sincere mahalo, Maui United Way thanks the following for their donations and contribution to the toy drive: Pacific Media Group, Meyer Computer Inc., Hawaii National Bank, Carden Academy of Maui, Skyline Eco-Adventures, Makawao Veterinary Clinic, Genki Sushi-Maui Mall, Ace Hardware Hawaii, Ben Franklin Crafts, County of Maui, Habitat for Humanity-Maui, Kaanapali Beach Club and all of the individuals who donated toys.
Your support allows us to meet the needs of our community.

Walking out of the Maui Memorial Medical Center Oncology Department after my husband's monthly treatment, we met someone pushing a cart full of goodie bags. She told me to pick a bag for my husband - there were so many - and I finally settled on one.
When we got home, I opened the bag, which was filled with useful items that we use every day.
Thank you, Scout Lansen Nitahara of Troop 53 for putting our bag together with an encouraging get-well note; you made our day special. And thank you to the Boy Scouts of Maui for doing such a wonderful job.

On behalf of the Doris Todd Christian Academy's 8th-grade class, we, the fundraising committee of Kiley Kochi, Eric Hanscam and Kamran Bhattacharya, would like to thank C-Jayes' Local Grinds and especially Pat Kochi for their generous help in funding our 8th-grade trip with our recent Spam musubi sale. The class certainly appreciates this benevolent donation of time, goods and services that will make our trip possible.
