I was surprised to see negative comments on disabled riders' treatment on the Maui Bus (The Maui News, Jan. 24).
On Jan. 23, at 11:05 a.m., the female bus driver assisted a wheelchair passenger at the bus stop near the Haggai Institute. The driver was courteous and disciplined and took her time in assisting the passenger.
As a registered physical therapist, I was impressed. Kudos to the driver and to Roberts.
