UH men lose to UC Santa Barbara

The University of Hawaii men's basketball team squandered a halftime lead and lost 75-64 to UC Santa Barbara on Thursday at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

Isaac Fotu scored 17 points for UH (15-7, 4-4 Big West), which led by as many as nine in the first half, and was ahead 37-34 at the intermission. Christian Standhardinger added 15 points, and Brandon Spearman had 11.

The Rainbow Warriors had won four of their previous five games.

Alan Williams scored 20 points for the Gauchos (15-6, 6-2), and Michael Bryson added 18.
