February 19, 2014

First Photo: Soni Faha of T&S Kafoa Mason Contractors sets a stone while helping to build Maui Memorial Park's retaining wall on Feb. 12. The 150-foot-long, 20-foot-tall wall collapsed Dec. 28, 2012, and the debris forced the closure of Waiinu Road. The project, which appears nearly completed, cost about $250,000, cemetery officials said in the fall. Also on the job was supervisor Liua Oto. T&S Kafoa Mason Contractors also has done stonework for Maui Memorial Park's new cemetery development, Maui View.
