The Alexander Academy Performing Co. will present "Swan Lake" on March 15 and 16 at Seabury Hall's 'A'ali'ikuhonua Creative Arts Center in Olinda.
Alexander Academy Performing Co. is the nonprofit branch of the donation-based dance studio Alexander Academy of Performing Arts in Kula.
AAPC's annual productions showcase the talent and skill of more than 150 dancers ages 3 to adult.
This year's "Swan Lake" will open with select contemporary and jazz pieces choreographed by academy faculty, offering a modern interpretation before the full-length ballet takes the stage.
Special to this year's production, professional ballet dancer Nathaniel Hunt will join the AAPC cast as Prince Siegfried.
Hunt graduated from Long Island University-Brooklyn and has studied at the Ailey School, Earl Mosley's Institute for the Arts and the Joffrey Ballet School.
Bench seating is $18 for adults, $10 for keiki ages 2-12. Preferred seats are available at $30 for adults, $20 for keiki.
Showtimes will be 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. March 15 and 16, with a multiple-show discount for those wishing to see different dancers in select roles or who simply wish to enjoy the show again.
