Malafu scores pair of tries for Kutztown
Kina Malafu of Kihei scored a pair of tries during the Kutztown University rugby club team's run to the championship in last weekend's University of North Carolina 7s Tournament in Chapel Hill.
Kutztown finished 4-0 in the tournament, defeating North Carolina 33-0, North Carolina State 47-0, American International 19-14 and Virginia Tech 54-10.

Hard Naks will conduct free clinic on Sunday
Hard Naks High Performance Speed Camps will offer free instruction from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Maui Tropical Plantation in Waikapu.
The event, which is taking place to mark the camps' second anniversary, will also have giveaways from multiple Maui businesses.
Camps are typically scheduled for the first and third Sundays of each month, with a fee of $10 per person, paid with cash or a credit card.
Hard Naks also offers instruction every Saturday, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. for youths in kindergarten through 7th grade, and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. for 8th grade and up. The Saturday camps also have a fee of $10.

McCord aces No. 9 at Wailea Old Blue
Julie McCord of Hot Springs Village, Ark., recorded a hole-in-one Tuesday at the Wailea Old Blue Course.
McCord aced the ninth hole, using a 3-wood for the 124-yard shot, which was witnessed by Scott McCord, Tom Huber and Stewart Robinson.
Racing scheduled for Saturday in Puunene
Stock car racing is scheduled for Saturday at Paradise Speedway Maui in Puunene, with time trials beginning at sunset.
Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. Spectator admission will cost $12 for adults and $5 for youths 6-12, with no charge for anyone 5 and under.
