The University of Hawaii baseball team finished with a split of its four-game series against Pepperdine after losing 7-3 on Saturday at Les Murakami Stadium in Honolulu.
Juliene Jones was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Rainbow Warriors (6-6). Jones started the game at third base, and later pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief.
Hawaii starter Eric Gleese (0-1) allowed five runs - one of them unearned - in three innings.
The Waves improved to 8-3.
Pepperdine starting pitcher Aaron Brown (2-0) homered and finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored.
Hawaii will play its first road game of the season on Friday, starting a four-game series against Texas, 15th in the Baseball America rankings.
