Laily Chowdry, 75, of Kihei and Hana, Maui, died Feb. 16, 2014, at home surrounded by loved ones and caregivers.
Scatter services will be Sat. Mar. 8, 8am, at Kihei Canoe Club, and Sun. Mar. 10, 10:30am, at Kipahulu Point.
Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Laily was born Feb. 13, 1939, in New York City, NY. She is best known as the professional clown, Featherduster.
She is survived by her brother, Noor (Michele) Chowdry; sister, Angie (Jerry) Mills; daughter, Ayesha (Tom) Pacholke. She is also survived by her mother, Catherine Torres, and grandson, Zachary Tidewell. She was predeceased by her son, Karim Chowdry.
