Health Connector enrollments today
Officials from the Hawai'i Health Connector will conduct an enrollment drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Micronesian Health & Wellness Resource Fair at the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center's center stage.
The fair is for people from the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Palau, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam and the Federated States of Micronesia.
Invasive species on Waikapu agenda
A Maui Invasive Species Committee official will be speaking to the Waikapu Community Association on Monday evening about the little fire ant infestation.
Abe Vandenburg will be joined by Rob Parsons, county environmental coordinator, at the meeting at the Waikapu Community Association.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. There also will be updates on other issues affecting the community.

Kaunakakai pool closed; part ordered
Beginning today, Cooke Memorial Pool in Kaunakakai will be closed indefinitely because the pool filter needs to be replaced, according to a county announcement.
The Department of Parks and Recreation has placed an order for the filter and will notify the public when repairs are complete.
Summer Fun Guide deadline is April 2
The Maui News will be publishing a Summer Fun Guide of activities for children and teens on April 13.
The deadline to submit information is noon April 2.
Submit the following:
* Name of program and for what ages.
* Sponsoring organization or business.
* Program times and dates.
* Location of the program.
* Description of program.
* Cost of the program.
* Contact information.
Information may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, faxed to 242-9087 or mailed to Summer Fun Guide, The Maui News, 100 Mahalani St., Wailuku 96793.
Photos may be submitted for use on a space-available basis. Shots of people doing things are preferable; group shots are unlikely to be used. Photos may be emailed in digital tif, jpg or eps formats with a minimum resolution of 300 pixels per inch. Individuals in photos must by identified by first and last name.
