Hawaii men win final regular-season contest

Isacc Fotu scored 18 points and Christian Standhardinger added 17 points and 15 rebounds as the University of?Hawaii men's basketball team beat Cal State Fullerton 81-77 on Saturday at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

Keith Shamburger scored 14 points - all on free throws - Garrett Nevels also had 14 and Brandon Spearman contributed 13 for the Rainbow Warriors (20-10, 9-7 Big West) in their final regular-season game of the season.

The Titans (11-19, 6-10) took a 65-64 lead with 4 minutes, 37 seconds left after UH built a 13-point advantage early in the second half.

Marquis Horne scored 18 points to lead Cal State Fullerton.

The Rainbow Warriors will be the No. 4 seed in the Big West tournament, which begins Thursday at Anaheim, Calif. Hawaii will open with Cal State Northridge.
