Jordan Richartz had a pair of hits and Alan Baldwin scored two runs as the University of Hawaii baseball team beat Texas 6-1 on Saturday in Austin, Texas.

The game was played over seven innings as part of a scheduled doubleheader - the second game was stopped with the score 2-2 after seven innings because of inclement weather. Play is scheduled to resume today.

The Rainbow Warriors (7-7) won for the seventh time in 10 games.

Scott Squier (2-0) pitched a complete game for UH, allowing two hits against the No. 10 team in Baseball America's poll. Squier struck out two batters and walked four.

The Longhorns fell to 11-4.

Texas' Dillon Peters (1-1) permitted six runs - four earned - in five innings.
