April 5-The Jim Sanders Realty Maui Women's Golf Championship is scheduled for April 5 at Maui Country Club in Spreckelsville, with a 7 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament is open to amateur women golfers age 18 or older who are residents of Maui and have a current GHIN handicap index. The entry fee is $60, which also pays for greens fee, use of a cart, entry in contests and an awards luncheon. Entry forms are available at most Maui courses, and the field is limited to 72 players. April 12-The Pundy Yokouchi Memorial Golf Tournament, a benefit for the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, is scheduled for April 12 at The Dunes at Maui Lani in Kahului, with a 7 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is $300 for a two-person team, which also pays for entry into contests, including hole-in-one contests with a car, motorcycle and $10,000 available as prizes, and an awards luncheon. April 19-The 18th annual Na Leo Kako'o o Maui golf tournament, which will benefit Kula Kaiapuni o Maui, a Hawaiian immersion school, is scheduled for April 19 at The Dunes at Maui Lani in Kahului, with check-in at 6 a.m. and a shotgun start at 7 a.m. The entry fee for the two-person scramble is $110 per player, which also pays for greens fees, use of a cart, an awards banquet and eligibility for prizes, including a trip to Las Vegas. Monday-The St. Patrick's Day Run 'Til You're Green event, comprising a three-mile run and walk, and a 100-meter dash for youths 2-12 years old, is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Monday, starting and ending at the Kahului Ale House. The entry fees today are $25 for youths and $35 for adults for the three-mile event, and $20 for the youth dash. On race day, only cash will be accepted for entry fees, which will increase to $30 for youths for each event, and $40 for adults. Entry fees also pay for a beverage and eligibility for prizes, including for costumes. Entrants paying before race day will receive a shirt. Race-day entrants are not guaranteed a shirt. April 6-The Maui 5K, a fundraiser for Maui schools' physical fitness, play and athletic programs, is scheduled for 7 a.m., April 6, starting and ending at the Maalaea Triangle. April 4-6-A Hawaii Youth Soccer Association E-Course, an entry-level course for coaches in under-13 divisions and above, is scheduled for April 4-6 at Maui Waena Intermediate School in Kahului. June 18-21-The No Ka Oi Soccer Tournament, for under-8 to under-19 boys and girls teams, is scheduled for June 18-21 at Eddie Tam Field in Makawao. The fees per team through April 15 are $300 for U-8 and U-9, $325 for U-10, $350 for U-12, $400 for U-14 and $500 for U-16 and above.
