The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team had its season-worst losing streak reach four matches on Saturday, falling 25-23, 25-13, 17-25, 21-25, 15-7 to Stanford in Stanford, Calif.
Brook Sedore had 25 kills and five digs for the Rainbow Warriors (11-10, 9-9 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), 10th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll. Sinisa Zarkovic added 12 kills and Taylor Averill had seven in 10 attempts, with no errors.
Hawaii fell to 2-6 on the road this season - the team has lost its last four matches away from home.
Brian Cook had 21 kills and a .444 hitting percentage for the sixth-ranked Cardinal (14-7, 11-7), and also had 10 digs. Steven Irvin had 19 kills and a .441 percentage, and Eric Mochalski added 12 kills.
Stanford finished the match with a .325 hitting percentage.
Hawaii will play at Pacific on Monday and Tuesday.
