Buddy No 55 is a tan-and-white male Jack Russell terrier mix. He is nearly 8 years old, weighs a little more than 15 pounds and has been neutered. Buddy was surrendered to the Maui Humane Society on Jan. 15 when he had been found as a stray and the finders couldn't keep him anymore. He is house trained and was an indoor dog. "Buddy is friendly with everyone he meets and gets along well with other dogs too. He has been on a couple of beach outings due to the fact he is so mellow and well behaved. Buddy enjoys jerky treats and belly rubs," society officials said.
