Victorino bats in No. 2 spot for Boston

March 18, 2014
The Maui News
Shane Victorino of the Red Sox is tagged out at home plate by the Cardinals’ Tony Cruz during the fifth inning of Boston’s 10-5 win over St. Louis on Monday an exhibition game in Fort Myers, Fla. Victorino, a St. Anthony High School graduate, went 0-for-2 in the game, and is 2-for-9 in four games this spring. Victorino batted second in the order on Monday, and the Red Sox reported on their website that manager John Farrell was considering having the two-time All-Star, who batted in that spot most of last season, remain there in 2014.
