Grants pay for tractor

April 30, 2014
The Maui News
Thanks to grants received from the Fred Baldwin Memorial Foundation, the Wailea Community Foundation and Young Bros., Ka Lima O Maui is the proud owner of a new Kubota 72-inch lawn tractor. The new mower, assigned to Nancy Tabon’s crew, will be used for Ka Lima O Maui’s vocational programs. Pictured with the new tractor are Same Cabalo (from left), William Kaahumui, Tabon, Sally Keanini and Romeo Visitacion. Ka Lima O Maui contracts with many public and private entities to provide grounds and custodial services as part of its training and employment programs for adults with disabilities. For more information on programs offered at Ka Lima O Maui, call 244-5502 or visit www.kalimaomaui.org.
