Cassidy No. 29 is a fawn with red overlay female terrier mix. Approximately 8 months old, she weighs about 30 pounds and has been spayed. She was found in Wailuku on March 2 with wounds on her face and a broken hip. With donations already in the "Hope Fund," Maui Humane Society officials were able to get her the X-rays and surgery she needed. Cassidy is recovering in foster care. She has been housebroken and has learned to sit and go down. "She plays very well with her foster mom's two female dogs and is great with kids," officials said. "She is a loving and happy girl who will continue to flourish in a nurturing home."
