Ameron Hawaii recently donated $16,251 to Maui United Way's 2013-14 Campaign.
The donations were from both employees and corporate contributions.
"Ameron Hawaii has once again shown their generosity and overwhelming support for their community this campaign year," said Laksmi Abraham, president and chief professional officer of Maui United Way. "MUW is overwhelmingly grateful for the caring support of Ameron employees, as each contribution is vital in providing for those in need, here on Maui."
Ameron Hawaii's Human Resources Manager, Nikki Battad said: "Maui employees truly give from the heart. Even in tough economic times, they give generously. Each campaign year we are confident that our employees will give what they can, but we find that they always give more because they know that the importance of giving directly supports their families and community."
Maui United Way supports 41 health and human service programs on Maui, with more than 300 businesses contributing to the agency's annual campaign.
