Wie trails leaders by one stroke

WATERLOO, Ontario (AP) - Michelle Wie of Honolulu ended Friday's second round of the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic in third place, one shot behind co-leaders Hee Young Park and Shanshan Feng.

Wie, who began the day tied for the lead with Park, the defending champion, had a bogey-free round of 4-under-par 67 at Grey Silo Golf Course for a 10-under total of 132.

"Just wasn't getting anything close to the hole today," said Wie, who is seeking her second win of the year. "Just got a lot of putts close. But yeah, it's not a really easy golf course. Definitely, the wind was changing a lot today. There were a lot of times where I thought it was downwind and it was into the wind, so that was definitely difficult."

Park shot 66 and Feng had a 65. Neither player recorded a bogey over the first 36 holes.

"I think I did pretty well," Feng said. "I heard the weekend's supposed to be nice, so we need to go for many, many birdies."

Last year, Park beat Angela Stanford in a playoff after they finished at 26-under 258 to match the tour record for lowest total score.
