Jackie Dado Fontanilla, 64, of Naalehu, died July 23, 2014 at the Hilo Medical Center.
Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, August 9th, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hana, with a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Burial of cremated remains will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Puuiki.
Dodo Mortuary, Inc. in Hilo is assisting with the arrangements.
Mr. Fontanilla was born November 7, 1948 in Hana. He was the son of Modesto and Ethel (Kalaola) Fontanilla.
He was a Vietnam War Veteran.
He is survived by wife, Patricia Fontanilla; sons, Earl-Scott Kameaaloha Fontanilla, Herbert William Nakupuna Fontanilla, and Keoni James Dado Fontanilla; daughters, Twila-Dawn Manulani Fontanilla and Tammie-Lynn Kapualani Tolentino; brother, Mackey Kalalau; sisters, Christine (John) Hanchett, Josephine (Anson) Hoopai, Loretta (Irish) O'Hara of Hana, and Lucinda (Stanton) Estrella; and 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
