Candidates set to speak at election rally

Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate David Ige, Lt. Gov. Shan Tsutsui and U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard will speak at the Maui County Democratic Party election kickoff rally at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Maui Waena Intermediate School cafeteria.

All Maui County Council and Democratic state Legislature candidates also have been invited. The rally will offer an opportunity to hear from multiple Democratic candidates.

This free event is open to Democratic Party members or those supporting Democratic Party candidates. For more information, contact party Chairman Troy Hashimoto at troy@mauidemocrats.org.
