I like how it has become perfectly acceptable in our society to form and even publicly express opinions on subjects that we know nothing about.
Just give me the facts please, not peoples opinions about the facts. I don't have a position on brain surgery because I'm not a brain surgeon. Only when it comes to politics do people magically assume that their opinion carries equal weight with other more informed views.
Seriously, you might as well be saying "Most physicists believe that matter is composed of atoms, do you agree?" Why on Earth are we asking members of the public whether or not they agree with facts?
Informed opinions and uninformed opinions should not carry equal weight. It doesn't apply in ANY other segment of our society, and neither should it apply to politics. Only brain surgeons opinions on brain surgery should be relevant, not the public's.

Scientific reports all show that rainfall is declining, temperatures are rising, evaporation is increasing and salinity levels in our aquifers are rising. Of course there are annual variations, but the trend is decidedly negative.
