Listen "girls" and "boys", maybe we should let Aunty and Uncle Maui County Council tell us when we should go shi-shi also. Some things should be left up to the thinking adults. What you think?

Although the other issues are huge, this one impacts our environment, our oceans, our way of life also. Is it really too much to ask that we all convert to bringing a recycleable bag to the store with us when we shop? The plastic bags end up in our oceans. Come on, think about it.

I think that the Council would find a better use of thier time if they started working on issues that TRULY effect the people of this county. Housing shortages, Economic Development, Transportation Development, and issues facing both public safety departments of Police and Fire. When the Council learns to address the tough issues and manage the county with real concerns for it's people, only then will we see real productive change for the good of Maui, Lanai, Molokai, and Kahoolawe.

Why target just one item, ban 1, ban them all. Does this include ZIP LOCKS, PVC or any other plastic item WHAT A WASTE OF TIME TO PICK ON ONE ITEM
