Kamehameha Maui boys move into second place
The Kamehameha Schools Maui boys soccer team moved into second place with a 5-1 win over Maui High on Tuesday at Kanaiaupuni Stadium.
Daniel Quenga scored twice for the Warriors (9-2-1), while Micah Alo, Chandler Alo and Kona Dancil all tallied once as they took a commanding 5-0 lead through 70 minutes of play.
Maui High (4-6-1) avoided the shutout when Kamai Kasawara scored in the 70th minute.
Kamehameha Maui, which is still alive for the Maui Interscholastic League championship, can clinch at least a state berth with a win next Tuesday against Seabury Hall.
