MIL soccer: Hana extends lead with 2-1 win over Seabury

The Hana High School girls soccer team widened its lead in the Maui Interscholastic League Division II standings with a 2-1 victory over second-place Seabury Hall on Friday in Hana.

Rachel Scott scored for the Dragons (3-8-0) in the 31st minute, and Zoe Elder headed in the go-ahead goal in the 47th.

Lena Fox scored for the Spartans (1-8-1) in the second minute.

* LAHAINALUNA GIRLS 3, ST. ANTHONY 0: At Lahaina, Haley Datt assisted on all three goals for Lahainaluna (4-6-2).

Junna Gazmen scored for the Lunas in the third minute, Beverly Joy in the 24th and Kelsey Schultz in the 50th.

St. Anthony is 0-12-1.

* SEABURY HALL BOYS 6, HANA 1: At Hana, Jeatherai Paner-Rietow and Alec Gumpfer each scored twice for Seabury Hall (2-5-0), which entered a tie for first in D-II.

Paner-Rietow scored in the 10th and 40th minutes, and Gumpfer in the 51st and 60th. Ryan James scored in the 14th, and Duncan Harrison in the 45th.

The Dragons (2-9-0) got their goal from Kobe-John Kahalehoe.

* LAHAINALUNA BOYS 7, ST. ANTHONY 0: At Lahaina, Sergio Gallardo scored three goals for Lahainaluna (7-2-2), which moved into third place in D-I.

Noah Camara, Reece Sinenci, Tony Ramirez, Alexis Gomez, Junior Gonzalez and Rodrigo Arroyo-Haro also scored for the Lunas (7-2-2).

St. Anthony fell to 0-11-0.
