Victorino, a St. Anthony High School graduate and two-time All-Star selection, signed a three-year, $39 million contract with the Red Sox in December, and hasn’t hidden his excitement about joining the team – on Friday, he tweeted “Rise and Shine…Full Squad @RedSox Nation here we go!” The 32-year-old set a career high with 39 stolen bases last year with the Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers while batting .255 with 11 home runs, 55 RBIs and 72 runs.
