Baldwin girls finish with 10-0 record in MIL play

The Baldwin High School girls golf team ran its Maui Interscholastic League winning streak to 51 straight matches and capped a 10-0 season with a 134-189 win over Seabury Hall on Thursday at Kahili Golf Course.

Marissa Uradomo shot 41, Lydia Higa had a 44 and Lexi Nagamine fired a 49 for the Bears. The Bears’ Tyler Charbonneau carded a 53.

The non-scorers for the Baldwin were Kimberlie Shimizu (38), Kaylee Shimizu (42), Kirstin Ishikawa (43) and Erin Kobayashi (52).

The Spartans (2-8) were led by Natasha Salamack’s 53, while Jimmsie Stisher had a 58 and Simone Brown shot 78. Seabury Hall’s fourth player was Jessica Brown (78).

The Spartans’ alternates were Piikea Lono (82) and Jasmine Patel (82).

* Maui High Girls 126, Lahainaluna 143: Under rainy conditions at the Kapalua Bay Course, the Sabers improved to 8-2 in the battle for second place in the MIL.

Christina Locke shot a 39 to lead Maui High, while Jasmine Carbajal shot 40 and Taylor Akamine fired a 47.

Maui High’s fourth player, Anna Apana, had a 50.

Caylyn Villatora’s 41 led the Lunas (6-4), while Caitlyn Villatora had a 43 and Ennah Cabading shot 58. Their fourth player was Bailey Pendergast, who had a 61.

* KS Maui def. King Kekaulike by default: At Pukalani Country Club, Shaina Hipolito shot a 46, Kodi Joyo had a 47 and Nicole Nagamine carded a 48 for the Warriors (4-6).

Kamehameha Maui’s fourth player, Kalena Tamashiro, shot a 72.

Nicole Umeno shot a 44 and Emma Raymond had a 56 for Na Alii (2-8).
