Lunas girls improve to 5-0

Caylyn Villatora had a round of 40 and Caitlyn Villatora added a 42 as the Lahainaluna High School girls golf team beat Seabury Hall 138-175 on Tuesday at the Kapalua Bay Course, remaining undefeated and tied atop the Maui Interscholastic League standings.

Jennifer Mentz had a 56 for the Lunas (5-0), and Ennah Cabading carded a 64. Sabrina Armijo (53) and Bailey Pendergast (54) were alternates.

Natasha Salamack’s 54 was the low score for the Spartans (2-3). Jimsie Stisher had a 56, Pi’ikea Lono shot 65 and Simone Baldwin had a 71. Seabury’s alternates were Joy Baldwin (61) and Jasmine Patel (94).

* Baldwin Girls def. King Kekaulike, forfeit: At Pukalani Country Club, Marissa Uradomo had a 38, Kirstin Ishikawa carded a 39 and Kimberlie Miyamoto shot a 40 as Baldwin won a 46th straight MIL match.

Kaylee Shimizu shot a 47 for the Bears (5-0), Tyler Charbonneau carded a 50, Lexi Nagamine a 53 and Kailey Garcia a 55.

The lone golfer for King Kekaulike (0-5) was Nicole Umeno, who shot 47.

* Maui High 128, Kamehameha Schools Maui 140: At Elleair Maui Golf Club, Jasmine Cabajar fired a 37 to carry the Sabers (3-2).

Taylor Akamine shot a 45 and Anna Apana carded a 46. Dayna Yoshimura had a 51, which didn’t count toward the team total.

Nicole Nagamine shot a 41, Kodi Joyo had a 43 and Shaina Hipolito carded a 56 for the Warriors (0-5). Kalena Tama-shiro shot a 60.
