St. Anthony gets past Seabury

Treyanna Freitas homered, Kaitlin Kim drove in two runs and the St. Anthony High School softball team fended off a seventh-inning rally by Seabury Hall to win 10-9 on Tuesday in a Maui Interscholastic League game at Keopuolani Park in Wailuku.

The Trojans (2-2) rallied from deficits of 2-0 and 3-2. Freitas hit a solo homer in the second inning, and Kim finished 2-for-2 with a double. Winning pitcher Danae Ah Nee was 2-for-3.

The Spartans (2-3) scored four runs in the top of the seventh, but Ah Nee ended the game with a strikeout, stranding a runner on second base.

Seabury’s Pili Hao-Meyer hit a solo homer. Phoebe Fickbohm and Christie Kimura each drove in two runs.
