Baldwin goes undefeated

The Baldwin High girls water polo team finished 6-0 in Maui Interscholastic League regular-season play with a 13-9 win over Kamehameha Maui on Wednesday at the Warriors’ on-campus pool.

Baldwin’s Alea Weber scored four of her match-high six goals in the third period when the Bears stretched their lead from 7-4 to 12-5.

Liana Lewis and Leimana Hassette each scored twice for Kamehameha Maui (2-4).

The league tournament is Monday through Wednesday at Kamehameha Maui, with single games starting each day at 5 p.m.

Baldwin will face fourth-seeded Maui High (0-6) Monday, and second-seeded Lahainaluna (4-2) will take on the Warriors on Tuesday.
