Seabury loses to Pahoa in state semifinal round
The Seabury Hall boys volleyball team lost 25-19, 19-25, 25-19, 25-14 to Pahoa on Friday in a New City Nissan Division II State Championship semifinal match at the Mo-analua gym on Oahu.
The second-seeded Spartans (12-3) will play Kauai in today’s third-place match at Blaisdell Arena. Seabury had appeared in the previous three state finals.
The third-seeded Daggers are now 12-5.

In Division I, Baldwin’s season came to an end with a 25-19, 21-25, 15-6 loss to Kamehameha Hawaii in a fifth-place semifinal at the Waipahu gym.
Bradley Bowlin had four kills and six blocks for the fourth-seeded Bears (13-3), Afoa Laga also had four kills and Kyson Lee-Kaiama finished with13 assists.
Evan Enriques had 10 kills for the Warriors (15-2), and Emmett Enriques and Isaiah Laeha each added seven.
