Seabury sweeps Waialua
Max DeLyon had 15 kills, Blake Rizzo added 13 and Cameron King had 10 as Seabury Hall swept Waialua 25-22, 25-19, 25-22 on Thursday in a New City Nissan Division II Boys Volleyball State Championship quarterfinal match at the Farrington gym on Oahu.
DeLyon had three aces and King had three blocks for the second-seeded Spartans (12-2), who will play third-seeded Pahoa in a semifinal today at Moanalua.
Tyren-Jon Moniz had 15 kills and two blocks for the Bulldogs (7-9).
Kaiser beat fourth-seeded Baldwin 25-16, 25-21, 25-19 at McKinley in the quarterfinals of the Division I tournament. Maui High’s season ended with a 25-18, 25-20 loss to McKinley in a fifth-place semifinal match at Waipahu. Statistics for the Division I matches were not available.
