Na Koa claim sixth straight

Na Koa Ikaika Maui rallied past the Hawaii Stars for a 6-3 victory in a Pacific Association game Saturday at Wong Stadium in Hilo.

Jesse Smith (2-0) allowed three runs over eight innings for Maui, which has won six straight games. Chris Mobley worked the ninth for his third save – all in three days.

Waylen Sing Chow had three hits and Kalaika Kahoohalahala drove in two runs for Na Koa, who fell behind 3-0 after three innings.

Losing pitcher Onan Masaoka (0-3) allowed four runs over five innings.
